Every account gets a dedicated channel — reps, managers, and solutions engineers all see the same thread. No forwarding an email chain to loop someone in; they're already in the channel.

Internal channels, separate by default

Org-only conversations — pricing strategy, internal debate, anything not meant for the customer-facing thread — stay in their own channels. The two never mix.

Files and quick calls, next to the deal

Share a file, jump on a quick call, drop a link — it's all attached to the account it's about. Anyone joining the deal mid-cycle can scroll up and see the full history instead of asking "can someone catch me up?"

Why not just use Slack

You can, for internal work. But a Slack DM about a customer doesn't file itself against that customer's record, and it's gone the moment the rep who owned the thread leaves. A ClioIQ channel is tied to the account, not to a person's inbox.
