ClioIQ help center
Short guides for setting ClioIQ up and fixing the common snags. Can't find your answer? Email sales@clioiq.com.
In this guide: Connect Zoom, Connect your calendar, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, How the risk score works, Credits and minutes, If the notetaker did not join, and Deleting a recording.
Connect Zoom
Sign in to ClioIQ and go to Settings → AI Notetaker. Under Connected Zoom accounts, click Connect Zoom, review the permissions on the Zoom screen and click Allow. You return to ClioIQ and the connection shows as Active. Full details, including the permissions requested, are in the Zoom documentation.
Connect your Google or Microsoft calendar
Connect your calendar once, with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and the notetaker auto-joins your scheduled external calls from then on. For anything ad hoc, paste the meeting link into a deal or contact record. In Settings you choose the scope: every meeting, external only, or off. See Google Calendar and Outlook and Teams.
Connect HubSpot
In HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Private Apps, create a Private App scoped to Contacts, Companies and Deals, and paste its access token into ClioIQ. There is no OAuth redirect to configure. Contacts, Companies and Deals sync both ways on your schedule, and Clio AI shows the exact fields before it writes anything. See HubSpot.
Connect Salesforce
Create a Connected App in Salesforce Setup and authorize ClioIQ with OAuth 2.0. Deal stage, amount and close date sync both ways, and a change ClioIQ makes, with your confirmation, shows up in Salesforce. Every sync is logged. See Salesforce.
Connect Zoho CRM
Register your app in the Zoho API console, authorize with OAuth, and set your pull interval; 15 minutes is the default. Accounts and Contacts pull from Zoho on your schedule, and every pull is logged. See Zoho CRM.
How the deal risk score is calculated
Three signals drive it: sentiment shift across consecutive calls, how long since the last meaningful activity, and whether budget has been confirmed or only assumed. They are read from the call transcripts, not from a rep's own rating. The score is recalculated after every call. A high score is a flag that something changed and a person should look; it is not a prediction of failure. See Deal Risk Scoring.
How Clio AI credits and notetaker minutes are counted
One credit is one Clio AI question or answer. Call summaries and CRM auto-fill are not metered against credits. Plans include a monthly allowance of notetaker minutes and credits per rep: the free trial has 120 minutes and 25 credits, Starter has 600 minutes and 250 credits, and Business has 1,800 minutes and 1,000 credits. Extra minutes and credits can be added on Starter and Business. Check the pricing page for current allowances and prices.
Why the notetaker did not join a call
Check these in order. The meeting link may be wrong or the invite may have expired. The platform may not be connected under Integrations (Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams are each connected once). The scope in Settings may be set to external only, or off, and the call was internal. If the notetaker could not get in, the meeting record shows a clear failure reason rather than an empty transcript.
The notetaker joins scheduled Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls. Phone calls are captured only on a ClioIQ business number, which is in early access; walk-ins and calls from a personal number are not captured.
Delete a recording
Your organization can request deletion at any time. For phone call capture, a rep can delete a call they took and an admin can delete every captured call at once, with the recording, transcript and notes going with it. For anything else, email sales@clioiq.com. See Security and data handling.
