Fireflies Alternatives for Sales Teams That Need CRM Updates
Fireflies records and summarises meetings for every team. Sales teams usually need more: CRM updates, deal risk and next steps. Here is how the sales-focused alternatives compare.
What a general notetaker does and does not do
A general notetaker records, transcribes and summarises. Fireflies' pricing page lists Free, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans, charged per seat, with app and CRM integrations on the premium tiers. What the page does not list is sales-specific scoring such as deal risk, which is what many sales teams end up needing.
The alternatives, side by side
| Product | Best for | CRM approach | Deal risk scoring | Pricing model | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ClioIQ | Small and mid-size B2B teams without a RevOps function | Built-in Clio CRM (from Starter), or sync to HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho (add-on on Starter, included on Business) | Yes, on Business: recalculated after every call | Public per-rep plans: Starter $19, Business $49 per rep per month billed yearly. 14-day free trial, no card | The notetaker joins scheduled Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls; phone calls are in early access |
| Avoma | Teams that want a meeting assistant and will add modules | Notes auto-save to CRM records on every plan; two-way field updates need the Revenue Intelligence add-on | Yes, as the Revenue Intelligence add-on (deal risk alerts and deal health score) | Per recorder seat: Startup $19 billed annually ($29 monthly); Organization $24 to $29 annually (the page shows both). Add-ons are extra | Deal risk and forecasting are paid add-ons on top of the seat price |
| Fathom | Individuals and small teams who want low-cost call notes | CRM field sync from the Business tier | No risk score listed; Business adds Deal View and coaching metrics | Free; Premium $16, Team $15 (2-user minimum), Business $25 per user per month billed annually (monthly prices are higher) | CRM sync only on the highest self-serve tier; no built-in CRM listed |
| Sybill | Reps who want call summaries and CRM autofill | Summaries pushed to the CRM from Pro; CRM Autofill for 10 fields on Business, unlimited on Enterprise | No risk score listed; Business adds a deal workspace with summaries | Free; Pro $30, Business $90 per user per month (the page shows $36 and $108 when billed monthly; annual saves 17%) | CRM Autofill is capped at 10 fields below Enterprise, and features are gated by tier |
| Otter | Individuals and teams who mainly need transcripts | Salesforce and HubSpot sync from Pro with user limits; sync for up to 5 users on Business; unlimited users on Enterprise | None listed on the pricing page | Free Basic, then Pro and Business per user per month; Enterprise by quote | CRM sync is limited by user count below Enterprise |
| Fireflies | Companies that want general-purpose meeting notes across every team | App and CRM integrations are available on the premium tiers | None listed on the pricing page | Per seat: Free, Pro, Business and Enterprise (prices were not readable on the page when checked) | A general notetaker, so sales-specific scoring is not the focus |
If CRM updates are the priority
Look at how the CRM is updated, not just whether an integration exists. Avoma saves notes to CRM records on every plan but needs an add-on for two-way field updates. Sybill's CRM Autofill covers 10 fields on Business. Otter limits CRM sync by the number of users below Enterprise. ClioIQ either files calls into its built-in Clio CRM or syncs to HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho, which is included on the Business plan.
If you want deal risk, not just notes
Of the tools above, ClioIQ lists a deal risk score on its Business plan, and Avoma lists deal risk alerts in its Revenue Intelligence add-on. The others, as of the date below, list notes, summaries and coaching, not a risk score.
Where ClioIQ is not the right fit. ClioIQ's notetaker joins scheduled Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls. Phone calls are in early access, and walk-ins or calls made from a rep's personal number are not captured. If your team sells mostly by phone, weigh that before a trial.
